These ancient, inspired coins dates back to 450 BC, from Greece. The front of the coin features medusa. The coin is set in a solid sterling bezel and features a round ruby, bezel set in 24K yellow gold. The pendant hangs on a 24K yellow gold bail, and comes on a 16-18 inch 14k yellow gold, diamond cut beaded chain. The rubies weigh 0.05 carats in total.
Medusa was one of the three monstrous Gorgons, generally described as winged human females with living venomous snakes in place of hair. Those who gazed into her eyes would turn to stone.
